2016 Aston Martin Lagonda Review, Price

The Lagonda used to be produced during the ’70s. Back then, it
used to be a four-door luxury sedan which could compete with
such cars as the Mercedes’ S Class. In the ’90s, the production
ceased, only to be continued once again this year.

Exterior

The Aston Martin remains secretive about the exterior. However,
from the official images it’s obvious that the 2016 Aston
Martin Lagonda retains Aston Martin trademark design elements:
the ridges on the hood and the signature grille.

The headlights have been remodelled as well as the lower part
of the bumper, which received a sporty look. The front fenders
have been enriched with heat extractors with staple Aston
strikethrough.

The rear of the 2016 Lagonda has received a slick spoiler. What
is also reminiscent of Aston’s sports cars are the exhaust
outlets and insert on the lower part of the rear bumper.

What remains beyond the pictures is the material used in the
exterior production.

Interior

The exact details on the interior are still unknown, but in
some spy photos the 2016 Lagonda seems incredibly classy. The
2016 Aston Martin Lagonda cabin introduces light-brown,
high-end leather, with the seats covered in diamond-quilted
design on certain parts. The seat inserts seem to be wrapped in
perforated leather. The vehicle has individual seats for each
of the passengers, and they come with ventilation, heating, a
massage system and a great support for the back. The
transmission and many other controls tunnel is placed between
the seats.

Engine and performance

When it comes to engine, the 2016 Aston Martin Lagonda should
also bring something unique and special.

The 2016 Aston Martin Lagonda uses the stretched (to fit the
longer body) chassis of the Rapide, therefore, a 6-liter V12
and a rear-wheel drive are expected to accompany it. This
engine should produce 600 hp and up to 500 pound-feet of
torque.

The vehicle like this should be able to develop acceleration
0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds and the top speed of 180
mph (289 km/h).

Initially, the 2016 Lagonda was to be produced in limited
numbers for the Middle East area exclusively, and only the
customers chosen by the company were to be able to buy it.

On February 28, 2015 Aston Martin officially announced that the
2016 Aston Martin Lagonda will be available to buyers around
the world, but in limited numbers. Now, the company accepts
orders from the EU and South Africa customers.

The price remains unknown, but it’s estimated that the price
won’t go under $500,000.
