2016 Buick Regal

The crossover sedan segment is getting more competitive every
year. Previously considered economical sedans are quickly
closing the luxury gap offering more luxury and technological
features as standard.

This has increased the heat on the top-of-the-range models.
Bowing to the heat, Buick has decided to slash prices of its
Regal sedan in order to attract more sales.

2016 Buick Regal Exterior

From the outside, the Buick sedan looks classy and elegant. The
body has some European touches mostly borrowed from its twin

Opel Insignia which is only sold in Europe. At the front,
the 4-door sedan features Buick’s signature waterfall grille.
The grille is flanked on both sides by redesigned LED
headlights.

The vehicle has a low roofline unlike most of its competitors.
To enhance its sportiness, the automaker has pushed its wheels
to the corners .The base model rides on 17-inch front and
18-inch rear alloy wheels while the top trims ride on 19-inch
front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels. On the sides, the
vehicle’s mirrors have been integrated with turn signals.

Inside, the 2016 Buick Regal sedan has a stylish cabin which is
similar to the top-of-the-range sedan models. The cabin
accommodates five passengers. However, the back is a bit
constrained and tall passengers will find themselves rubbing
their heads with the headliner. Leather is the standard
upholstery. The front seats are heated and 12-way power
adjustable. The GS features front sports seats.

The vehicle also features a tilt and telescoping steering wheel
wrapped in leather. Also included is an 8-inch color touch
screen that comes with the automaker’s IntelliLink infotainment
system.

Other features include a 7-speaker sound system (the Premium II
and GS trims get a 9-speaker Bose premium sound system)
integrated with USB ports. Both audio systems are controlled
via a 4.2- inch touch-screen display. The GS and Premium II
also feature an OnStar-integrated GPS navigation system
integrated with voice recognition technology. Other features
include a dual-zone climate control and a rearview camera.
Higher trims will add a heated steering wheel, a remote garage
door opener, parking sensors and keyless ignition.

On matters safety, the vehicle features as standard; stability
and traction control, 4-wheel ABS, a post-collision safety
system, side-mounted airbags, rear head protection airbags, a
remote antitheft alarm and DRLs. More features are found in
